Christopher Bell – No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry Preview Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway

“Richmond has been on of my best racetracks in the past, going there this weekend with the low downforce package is something that I’m hoping will be really good for me. ”

Bell at Richmond Raceway: Christopher Bell is making his NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) debut at Richmond Raceway (RR), a track where he has had a very successful NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) career. In five NXS starts at RR, Bell has three wins, three top-five and four top-10 finishes. In addition, Bell has one pole starting position and has led a total of 457 laps.

2018 NXS Richmond Sweep: Bell swept Richmond in 2018, winning both the spring and fall events at the 0.75-mile track. In the spring he qualified second and led 167 laps to cross the finish line first. In the fall Bell qualified on the pole and took home the victory, while pacing the field for 67 laps.

Richmond Wins: Bell has 16 career NXS victories and three of those have come at Richmond behind the wheel of a Toyota with Rheem on the hood.

Darlington Recap: On a restart in the final stage Sunday evening at Darlington the field checked up and Bell got into the car in front of him. The No. 95 suffered some front-end damage and had to spend a few laps in the garage to replace the water hose. Bell returned to the track a few laps later and ultimately finished the race 34th.

Christopher Bell: “Richmond has been on of my best racetracks in the past, going there this weekend with the low downforce package is something that I’m hoping will be really good for me. I’m excited to get to Richmond Saturday night and see what we’ve got.”
